St George’s Park: England’s hub of sports science

The home of the England national squads from the men’s and women’s seniors down to the Under 16s is St George’s Park. The multi-million pound facility is hoped to help England end the 51 years of hurt since the World Cup win in 1966.

The centre understandably hosts the best sports science department possible. The Beautiful Science got the opportunity to visit St George’s Park and spoke to Ian Aylward about his role at the centre and the array of equipment and facilities within the training complex.
